Creating an Environment Where Plants, Gardens, and Gardeners Grow!

The O’Fallon Garden Club, founded in 2010, is a volunteer organization dedicated to beautifying the city of O’Fallon and encouraging volunteerism and civic pride. Ongoing projects include the development of a parcel of land that was once an unsightly trailer park to what now boasts a lovely butterfly garden, perennial beds, garden plots, and a community garden that has grown and donated over 30,000 pounds of vegetables to the local food pantry. Volunteers meet twice a week to plant, weed, water, and enjoy the company of fellow gardeners as they beautify the community.

In addition to the community garden, club members also design, plant, and tend various gardens around town including the traffic circle, downtown planters, and the Veterans' Monument.  Donations for support of the O'Fallon Garden Club may be made to the O'Fallon Garden Club, C/O the O'Fallon Parks and Recreation, 308 E. 5th Street, O'Fallon, IL  62269.  Donations are tax-deductible.

Members enjoy monthly programs, focused on local interests presented by experts in their fields. The club is a member of the National Garden Club, the Garden Clubs of Illinois, and boasts a membership of over 105 members, 23 master gardeners, two master naturalists, and a Montana State University Master Beekeeper. Our community “digs” gardening!

O’Fallon is a growing community in southwestern Illinois, located just 20 minutes east of St. Louis.
